Dishwasher St Ignace closes 02-01-12

1. Operates and maintains the dishwashing machine.
2. Fills holding containers completely with the correct dishes and rinses them before putting them in the machine.
3. Removes dishes from the flip and sorts and stacks them according to banquet rooms and classifications.
4. Changes silverware presoak solution as needed but not less than every two hours.
5. Keeps work areas, hallways, and walk-in coolers clean by sweeping, mopping, cleaning surfaces, and emptying garbage containers.
6. Assists in special maintenance when required.
7. Performs other duties as assigned by Lead Cooks.
8. Reports to work on time and in uniform, ready to work, punches in and out in uniform.
9. Maintains proper grooming and appearance.
10. Demonstrates safety with the operation of equipment.
11. In the case of lost and found, calls security to immediately pick up items. Performs the general and specific tasks of pot washing.
12. Keeps work area thoroughly clean at all times.
13. Cleans dish carts and racks, waitress trays.
14. Cleans specific areas and surfaces as specified by Supervisors.
15. Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by Supervisor.
16. Properly maintains dish machine such as deliming and checking soap and rinse levels.
17. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

1. English proficiency.
2. Previous experience preferred, but not required.
3. Must be dependable with a good work record.
4. Must be friendly and polite.
5. Must have a positive attitude and be a team player.
6. Native American preferred.
7. Sanitation certificate required. (This can be obtained through our training department.)
8. Must be able to comply with company policies and procedures. Must be able to work flexible schedule.
9. Will be required to complete and pass pre-employment drug testing.
10. Native American preferred.
